Welcome back gang to another week of 25 to Life. This was a great episode of The Bachelor last night. Maybe it’s just that I am really excited that we are finally getting into the good stuff now that we have cut the chaff from the first episode. Who really wanted to get to know Izzy, anyway?
We had two pretty huge group dates this week that took some of the girls back to Ben’s formative high school years in Indiana (where he most likely peaked which is why he is so attached to that time in his life) and another group date where Ben got some serious data about who would be his best match.
Also in this episode, we found out who this season’s villain will be and lo and behold our ace out of the gate and first impression rose winner, Olivia aka young Cameron Diaz, turned five shades of crazy in less than a week. Her “passion” for Ben will be her ultimate demise as one of the key things that our Bachelor has mentioned time and time again is that getting along with the other girls is a huge thing for him. After this episode, I think we all know that she doesn’t do that very well.
A few girls we haven’t gotten too attached to bit this dust this week, but there was also some excellent PT from a few of my favorites so far this season. Jennifer who blows me away every time I see her was great in this episode and Lauren B stole the show at the cocktail party even though she was barely seen in week 2. Of course, Jubilee is a hot topic this season, but this week’s gold star goes to our girl Caila. On a date where she could have easily been overshadowed by two super famous people, one a comedian and another Grammy Award Winning rapper-actor, she stood her ground and showed Ben she could hang with the best of them AND give him depth. What a lady, amiright!?
See you next week gang!
