Let’s be real, the best part of the Oscars is all the amazing parties being thrown! Give me Mora that bubbly and let’s hit the town, honey!
Yesterday we dropped by one of our fave gifting suites, Debbie Durkin’s EcoLuxe Lounge Oscars gifting suite at The Beverly Hilton Hotel for an early afternoon delight. Sali and I helped ourselves to a 5-star brunch catered by Chef Alberico which was just what we needed to refuel before hitting the different “booths.”
The EcoLuxe Lounge was sponsored by Chariot Travelware and Un Joyau Majestueux. After shopping for some luggage with a glass of Cabernet, I now never want to shop any other way! The Cab was divine, FYI.
In the midst of the Oscars madness and going from event to event, guests were able to get hair and makeup touch-ups provided by Hollywood Makeup which was seriously a life saver! I got to the event around 12 and by that point my hair had fallen flat and my face was getting kind of shiny. Ladies, I know you know what I’m talking about here. There is nothing better than having one of these stations at your event. Plus, it makes you feel all sorts of glamorous.
Whilst we were making our way through, we bumped into some of our favorite celebs. As a TV host I was most excited to see Adrienne Bailon at the gifting suite because you all know how much I LOVE watching her on The Real. I am such a fan! She kept it daytime chic, sipped on some Un Joyau Majestueux and stayed for about an hour.
Other celebs that attended were some of the boys from my #1 Fall TV preview pick This Is Us, Drake Bell (my millennials remember Drake & Josh!), Gilles Marini (Switched At Birth) and Alysia Reiner (Orange Is The New Black), to name a few.
I also loved trying on some faux fur by Dena Burton and taking a mini nap on the most comfortable mattress and pillow ever. We also got to try on a real crown from a beauty pageant thanks to OC Makeup & Beauty Bar – can I do that again? I had a blast attending the EcoLuxe Lounge Oscars gifting suite and can’t wait to see what they do for my favorite awards show of all time, the Emmys!
Stay tuned for Sunday’s Oscars coverage!
