Gratitude challenge officially completed!
I didn’t blog about the last stretch of the gratitude challenge for many reasons, but one has stood out to me the most:
It became a part of my lifestyle — so much that I often couldn’t just write one thing I was grateful for that day.
Life threw me a lot of curve balls in the past 30 days. Sometimes it’s crazy how timing works out; maybe I was given these obstacles during my gratitude challenge to help me change my perspective on life. Don’t get me wrong, there were definitely days where I was just so not into finding something to be grateful for. I am human, after all. And then there were days were life was just so fucking beautiful, I couldn’t imagine not being present to take it in. If anything, this challenge has taught me to live more in the present. To be more positive. To appreciate more. And to express my gratitude more.
I can’t imagine not being grateful for something every single day. We get so caught up in our lives that we forget to find the beauty in even the smallest things. A more positive attitude leads to a more positive life. I can confidently tell you that.
It’s important to continue to push yourself out of your comfort zone. It’s important to keep trying and never give up. It takes 21 days for something to become a habit, so push through and always keep going.
How did this go for you? What were your thoughts?
