DIY Memorial Day Party With BevMo!

DIY Memorial Day Party With BevMo!

*This is a sponsored post by BevMo and is for those 21+🍷. But all opinions are my own!*

Being a proper party host might be in my gene pool as a Persian Jewish girl, but there are few things I enjoy more than having gatherings at my place with some great drinks.

May has always been a month of celebrating between my birthday (May 16) and Memorial Day Weekend, which is perfect timing as I’ve teamed up with BevMo! to show you how to host your very own party!

When you think of Memorial Day you think of BBQs, sun, pools/beach, and your closest friends. My house has always been the hang out house, with people coming, going, or staying for days on end so I always have to make sure I’m super prepared in the least amount of time.

Thus, the emergence of:

EFFICIENT MORA.

How do you have a fun get-together without having to hit 10 different places? Easy.

BevMo!

Thankfully there’s a BevMo! just a few minutes from me, but even if I didn’t necessarily feel like going to the store, BevMo! delivers your items straight to your door. I mean, I couldn’t get more millennial than asking for my alcohol to be delivered. I do have to say though, I love going to the actual store or choosing my items beforehand and having them ready for pickup. I use the delivery option for when my orders are over $500 because then delivery is FREE.

For Memorial Day, I will be serving beer, wine, spirits and mixers. There needs to be an option for every type of drinker or I will feel like I didn’t serve my guests properly.

Note: There’s a Memorial Day sale at BevMo! So you can keep things #BougieOnABudget.

Since I like to spend the day with my girlies, I’m going to do a fun Vodka Tonic that’s lower in calories than the usual mixed drink but still yummy and refreshing.

Fever Tree Tonic Water is a different spin on your regular tonic water and it’s lower in calories than most tonic waters, so for me that is a win!

To make your delicious spirit drink you’ll need:

  • Tito’s Vodka (750ml bottle)
  • Fever Tree Tonic Water (pick your flavor based on your own taste)
  • Fresh lemons
  • Limes
  • Sliced cucumbers

You can either make this in a pitcher or set it up as a build-your-own-drink station. I prefer a station because it’s cuter and customizable.

I made pineapple shaped ice cubes for an extra touch of summer

I don’t love a red wine when it’s hot out so I went with Unruly Rosè and Rocklin Ranch Chardonnay.

Sangria isn’t usually made with Chardonnay but I love doing something a little different as there are no rules when it’s your party!

Give Me Mora that Sangria (use however much you want – there are no rules):

  • Rocklin Ranch Chardonnay
  • Lots of ice
  • Lime juice
  • Lemon juice + lemon slices
  • Sliced mango
  • Sliced pineapple
  • Sliced apples
  • Blueberries

Serve these DRANKS alongside some Coronas and Rosè and you’re good to go! Every friend will be satisfied. Pair all of this with a killer playlist via Spotify or Apple Music and you’re gucci.

Easy, simple, efficient, and most of all FUN!
