I’m going to keep this one short this week, as I’ve been swamped and dealing with the Jewish holidays!
I came across this beautiful piece by Groucho Marx and I wanted to share it with you to give you some perspective, and of course, some MORAvation 😉
Each morning when I open my eyes, I say to myself;
I, not the events, have the power to be happy or unhappy today.
I can choose which it shall be.
Yesterday is dead.
Tomorrow has not arrived yet.
I have just one day,
and I am going to be happy.
This piece is really powerful. We all have days where things happen to us that can bring us down or ruin our day, but we have to make a conscious effort to choose happiness.
