NYFW Fall/Winter 2015: Badgley Mischka

NYFW Fall/Winter 2015: Badgley Mischka

I’m back in the city of dreams for New York Fashion Week! This Cali girl just does not know how to dress cute with single-digit weather – I’m struggling. But that’s the sacrifice you make for fashion, right?

At 10AM on February 17, 2015, celebrities, bloggers, editors, and industry-related people made their way into Lincoln Center for the Badgley Mischka show. I have to say, it all felt

like a dream. I was seated in the fourth row minding my own business until I realize my girl-crush, Chrissy Teigan , was sitting in front of me 3 rows down. That woman glows, she’s just so freakin’ beautiful!

Badgley Mischka have created a brand in the fashion industry known for style, grace, class and of course, glamour. Season after season, they constantly deliver without fail. When the lights finally went down, all phones lit up and were ready for recording and pictures. And I personally couldn’t wait to see what they would bring to the table this season.

Like last year, their colors included black, gold and splashes of white. This season, the two Badgley_Mischka_fall_winter_2015_2016_collection_New_York_Fashion_Week3designers added deep reds, a little bit of plaid and intricate gold beading. Each ensemble was timeless, unique and a show stopper; it took everything in me to not grab them off the models!

I always forget that each fashion show is only 15-20 minutes, and with this collection, I found myself wishing there was even more to see. Badgley Mischka could have provided me with a 30 minute show and it still probably wouldn’t have been enough. Their fall/winter 2015 collection was everything. I look forward to seeing what celebs wear their designs for the Oscars this weekend.

Wonderful show and great way to begin my fashion week journey! Be sure to follow me on Instagram and Snapchat (@nicmora) to follow along as I conquer NYC!
