Bruna, the creator of The Problem With Dating blog, is one of my favorite bloggers I’ve been able to collaborate with. You may remember her post for Give Me Mora here or the piece I wrote for her blog about the social media breakup here.
She recently launched her podcast, The Problem With Dating After Dark, and I can’t get enough! When Bruna asked if I would come on to speak about being a millennial in the dating world and dating as the child of immigrant parents. Whilst I very rarely speak about my dating life publicly, I felt like there were so many issues that needed to be addressed.
I was so nervous to share my stories, but ultimately, I’m so happy I did! Speaking with Bruna is always easy, as she makes you feel right at home to be open and honest. From bad dates, to growing up in the Persian-Jewish community, to people calling me “intimidating” and telling me to tone it down…we discussed it all and more.
We got real and we got down to business! It’s a little long, but I promise it’s worth taking a listening to – especially if you have an hour commute or so.
Special shout out to my girl, Bruna, for having me on her amazing podcast! You’ll want to listen to the other episodes too. Thank you so much for making me feel like a bad ass after!
Let me know your thoughts on this episode of The Problem With Dating After Dark! The good, the bad, the ugly.
I also filmed us recording it, so I will be posting a short video recap of my favorite parts hopefully within the next week or two so be sure to watch out for that.
