See You Never Again, 2016!

See You Never Again, 2016!

I think it’s safe to say that 2016 was a rough one for pretty much everyone. Thank G it’s over because I’d like to never experience this kind of year again! My favorite joke about 2016 is that Fidel Castro couldn’t survive it. It sure says something about all of us here, still standing, and moving forward.

According to numerology, 2016 falls under the number 9, also known as the year of completion/endings. In other words, everything should have come full circle. Did it for you?

We lost a ton of legends in 2016, saw a lot of Hollywood couples breakup, and we saw the first black President finish his last term. On a personal level, I’ve experienced a lot of growth this year through many ups and downs. With many different types of losses, adjusting to a new normal was a constant theme for me through the year. It taught me that ultimately, what is meant for us will always come back and show up for us. I learned to trust myself and do what’s best for ME, regardless of what anyone else may think.

Just like the numerology said, (almost) everything came full circle.

As we head into 2017, it’s the perfect time to set new intentions and goals. It’s also the beginning of a new moon. Write down your goals,  your resolutions, a plan to do everything you never got around to doing in 2016. What do you want to accomplish this year professionally AND personally? Perhaps you begin by cleaning out your room/closet. Just START. My personal goals include to start meditating, to be more open to what’s coming for me, and to practice being patient. Professionally…well you’ll just have to stay tuned! 😉

Let’s kiss 2016 goodbye (literally and figuratively) and bring in the new year with good vibes and good intentions. And, if we are going back to numerology, 2017’s number is 1, which means NEW BEGINNINGS! Take on some leadership roles and take charge of the year, because it’s yours to take.

See you all next year! I love you with all my heart and can’t wait to see what we accomplish together.
