Accepting Responsibility Is The New Black

Accepting Responsibility Is The New Black

Let’s be honest. It’s way easier to blame anybody except yourself for the reason something didn’t work out. Accepting responsibility can sometimes feel like a foreign concept.

If you’re reading this and thinking, “no, I always say I fucked up when I actually think I did,” then great. Good for you. But, what I’ve come to realize is that even when we think we do a good job of owning up to things, there’s always still room for improvement.

I’m all about the self improvement vibes lately.

Everything in your life currently is a mirror of you. Everything is a result of a decision you’ve made or will make. This is something I’ve really had to remind myself of.

As I get older, the lack of people owning up to their mistakes becomes more apparent. I thought, perhaps, we would get wiser and better with age. Silly me.

Accepting responsibility really is the new black. The more “woke” we get as a generation, the more we have to face our own selves and realize that, yeah, maybe I do have some flaws. This is a time where we are all evolving.

Get on board or get out.
