I’d like to challenge you to truthfully tell me that you don’t have fears holding you back from greatness.
Last week, I went to a workshop by a member of Tony Robbins’ company and he attacked the concept of fear and how it affects us achieving amazing things. And it got me thinking…
I think people are scared of being great. Or even just really good. I think we are scared to be better, to do better, and to live better.
Think about it:
Do you say you want to get in shape/lose weight yet you make excuses that it’s okay to eat poorly just because you’re tired and cannot be bothered to try making the right choice? Or do you have an entire business checklist that you can’t get through simply because you’re scared to face it head on? And when it comes to love, some of us often run away before giving it a real chance. Whatever the reason may be, most of our excuses come from fear.
I see it all the time – people just settling for mediocre because they are scared of the unknown. They’re comfortable in their misery, routine, or in being overweight. They’re so comfortable that it’s actually become a part of their identity!
I’m so guilty of this too because I’m so freaking scared of change! I’m scared of the unknown and not knowing what life is going to be like for me when I get everything I’ve ever wanted. And let me tell ya, if you put your mind to it, you really can get everything you want. If you want to get something you’ve never had, you’ve got to do something you’ve never done. Force yourself out of your shell/bubble/comfort zone and get moving!
Let’s get uncomfortable together. Start the process with me and tell me how much your life is changing FOR THE BETTER!
What do you say? Are you with me? Or do you disagree? Sound off below & have a great start to your week!
